Worship Services

We would love for you to join us in worship! Services are every Sunday at 10 am and 3 pm.
If you are unable to attend a service in person, listen to a live worship service.

Special services

Below are some of the special services which are held to commemorate significant events in the Christian calendar year.

  • Prayer service for crops and labour: Spring
  • Remembering the death of Christ: Good Friday
  • Celebrating the resurrection of Christ: Easter Sunday
  • Remembering the ascension of Christ: Sunday prior to Ascension Day
  • Remembering the outpouring of the Holy Spirit: Pentecost
  • Service of thankfulness: Sunday morning before Thanksgiving Day
  • Commemorating the birth of Christ: Christmas Day (December 25)
  • New Year’s Eve (December 31)

Note: if New Year’s Eve occurs on either Saturday, Sunday, or Monday a special service will not be conducted.

Lord’s Supper Celebration

The Lord’s Supper is celebrated six times during the year on the third Sunday of every second month (February, April, June, August, October and December).

What to expect

Our worship services are structured in a traditional manner, with the general format dating back to the days of the Reformation. The service is set up as a conversation between God and His people. We are instructed by his Word and respond with psalms, hymns, and prayers. The following is a brief overview of our order of worship or liturgy:

We sing from the Book of Praise. It is a collection of psalms and hymns. Guest copies of the Book of Praise and the ESV Bible can be obtained from the ushers. More information about the Book of Praise you can find on the BookofPraise.ca website.

We pray to God to express our praise and thanks and to ask Him for His blessing on our worship.

Scripture Reading

We read the English Standard Version (ESV) of the Bible. We believe that the Bible is the true Word of God.

We listen to a sermon prepared by faithful preachers of God’s Word. The sermons teach and guide us in the way of the Lord.

We support those who are in need with the money we have been blessed with by God.

Dress code

There is no dress code related to our worship services. That being said, we meet together on the Lord’s Day to worship our Lord and King! Much like you would ensure you’re looking your best if you ever got a chance to meet royalty, members typically dress in a manner to show that they feel honoured to be a part of the worship service. We encourage you to do the same!

Child Care

During both services there is a nursery facility for infants and toddlers. Older children are welcome to participate in the worship services.
