Community Outreach

Our congregation is involved in several outreach programs through which we share the gospel with those in our community. Some of the programs we are involved in are listed below.

Chapel Talk

Chapel Talk is held at Riverside Glen Retirement Village on the North end of Guelph every Sunday evening at 7:00 PM. Seniors from within the retirement village attend and they look forward to it every week. During Chapel Talk a member from our congregation reads from scripture and delivers a short meditation. The meditation is followed by singing and fellowship with the seniors. Families are encouraged to take their children along with them to mingle and participate with the seniors.

Downtown Dinners

Every few months, on a Saturday afternoon, we host a Downtown Dinner at the Royal City Christian Life Centre in downtown Guelph. The dinner provides a nutritious home cooked meal for 80-100 people in need. Two crews of people work together: one prepares the food and the other serves and cleans up.

Kingdom Seekers and Cadets

Kingdom Seekers and Cadets are Christian clubs for boys and girls aged 9-13. During their bi-weekly meetings, participants and leaders come together to do devotions, crafts and sing. They also have regular outings in the community and do badge work. The aim of Cadets is to help boys to grow more Christ like in all areas of life. Kingdom Seekers’ mission is to involve young covenant girls in interactive learning focused on Bible knowledge. Everyone is encouraged to bring a friend from their neighborhood along so we may share God’s love and word with those who may not be familiar with it. Please contact us for more information on these programs.
